Yes, we still had them in our area when I was growing up. Sometimes kids (not necessarily me) would go around on Halloween (maybe other times as well) and tip the outhouses over. Ever once in awhile, one would have had someone in it. No one got physically hurt.

Glad Lynn only suffered damage to his ego. And yes he was lucky they had not been used yet.
