The old Rocky Flats land is supposed to become a federal wildlife refuge like the Arsenal but the haven't managed to clean it up enough to open it to the public. Were at the Arsenal today. Darned bison and coyotes were hiding. Saw some deer, hawks, pelicans, a heron, and comerants. It's green out there with lots of wildfowers. Few days ago we saw a couple of bucks running through grass above their shoulders. DG
