DG,

Both Gallatin County and Park County Public Health officials sent official communications to Cam Sholly, Yellowstone's superintendent, and the Secretary of the Interior, asking them to close Yellowstone, because they fear that an influx of visitors from afar will tax the finite medical resources of these gateway counties. (Gallatin County, as of this morning, has 16 of the 46 COVID-19 cases in the state of Montana. We're Number 1! We're Number 1!)

Cam has publicly stated that Yellowstone is remaining open, but the park has taken steps to reduce the threat to employees, concessioners, and visitors. At present, the North Entrance kiosk is not staffed. The Albright Visitor Center in Mammoth and Boiling River are both closed.

As far as I know, Grant Teton National Park remains open, and Yosemite National Park is closed.
