This video shows what Yellowstone will look like in 9 years due to global warming.

We were fortunate enough to be invited to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as one of the first families visiting with their new VISA program (prior it was only open to foreigners with a business VISA), although our reason for going was for business. We invited to participate in the Riyadh Toy Festival as part of their Riyadh Season festival. It was an awesome experience for all of us, especially for the boys to see the "real" Saudi Arabia! Few people spoke English, the women were mostly in full black abaya dress with slits for eyes, it's not really set up for tourism but they eventually want to go the route of Dubai. After a week in Riyadh we then headed to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, which is much more westernized by Arab standards but still a culture shock. We spent an amazing week in the UAE, visiting all the cool buildings, going up the Burj Khalifa where we met Tom Cruise dangling outside the windows, lots of amusement parks (everything is inside huge air conditioned warehouses), water slide parks, Atlantis, went on the fastest roller coaster in the world at Ferrari World, etc. But my favorite part was going to this remote resort way out in the desert, a 2 hour drive through hundreds of miles of desert (The Empty Quarter) to this amazing sand castle of a resort called "Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort By Anantara". Isolated in the middle of nowhere. It's one of the top rated hotels in the world, check it out, if you get a chance it's worth going and then some! I've always wanted to take a camel ride in an Arab country. We almost did in Dubai but those are pretty much touristy experiences, short camel ride for photo opps, although still cool because you're there. Well, we did our camel ride at this remote resort and it was the real deal, an extended ride through the desert, met with evening tea and drinks and a wonderful sunset. Warm soft sand. Lauri and I loved it but I live my life though my boys now, so seeing them experience this is what it's all about for me. They loved it!

Here's the video of the camel ride experience! This is also an unlisted, non-monetized video, just uploaded.

Soon, Lord willing, I'll be posting new pics and vids of current adventures with my cameras.
